The home of Stevenage Hockey Club is located between the town centre and the old town. The clubhouse is run by The Stevenage Cricket and Hockey Sports Club and is also home to the Stevenage Cricket Club. During the week the club hosts darts, dominos and cribbage teams.

The clubhouse is the location for our post match teas and well as social events throughout the year.

Normal opening hours:
Monday – Thursday 6pm to 11pm
Friday 4:30pm to 11pm
Saturday 12 noon to 11pm
Sunday 12 noon to 10pm

The clubhouse is available to hire by members of the hockey club at special discounted rates. If you or someone you know wishes to hire the clubhouse please speak to Sara Fautley for availability.

If you are interested in playing darts, dominos or cribbage, again speak to Sara Fautley who can put you in contact with the team captains.

From the North and South, A1(M) J8: Take A602 to Stevenage, and go straight over 1st roundabout. At next roundabout, turn left. Follow the dual carriageway, going straight over another roundabout. At the second roundabout turn right. Go over two mini roundabouts and at the next roundabout turn left. Take first right into Mobbsbury Way, and the school is half a mile on the left.

From the East A10: Leave the A10 at the Stevenage/Ware turn off. Follow the signs for Stevenage (A602). After entering Stevenage keep going straight over the first roundabout and turn right at the second. At the next roundabout turn left. Head along Gresley Way over 2 roundabouts and at the 3rd turn left. Take the 3rd left into Mobbsbury Way, and the school is half a mile on the left.

The entrance to the John Henry Newman Leisure Centre is on the left after the entrance to the John Henry Newman School.

From the East A10: Leave the A10 at the Stevenage/Ware turn off. Follow the signs for Stevenage (A602). When in Stevenage keep going straight over roundabouts until you see the Football Ground on the left. Go over one more roundabout and then turn right at the following roundabout into Gunnelswood Road. Go under an underpass and then straight over two roundabouts. At the third roundabout turn left. The entrance to the John Henry Newman Leisure Centre is on the left after the entrance to the John Henry Newman School.
