Bishops Stortford M3’s v Stevenage M1’s.

Stevenage M1’s travelled to Bishops Stortford, to play the twilight game under the lights
A slow first five minutes saw Stevenage go one nil down from a short corner, but confidence was high. Stevenage continued to pressure the Bishops Stortford net, resulting in some great individual play by Mike Oliver to get his first of the game.
This was followed up by Mike Oliver getting his second of the game in very similar circumstances
Aiden Parker got in on the action with his first of the game, rifling in a short corner, right in front of the home fans.
Bishops Stortford followed up with their second of the game to make it 3-2.
Mike Oliver then in what seemed liked de ja vu got his first half hat trick. A passage of play which saw the ball work its way across all 3 defenders! Tom Davies to Andy Davies to Andy Gardner…and so on! Up to the midfield then the forwards for Dan Farnam to slip a neat ball to Paul Spicer to finish back post! A fantastic team passage of play, move of the season.
5-2 at half time!
Stevenage started the second half as they finished the first.
Some great runs by Massimo Masala and Luke Wilkinson saw Stevenage pile on the pressure in the second half!
Aiden Parker got his second of the match after being denied a clear goal, he stepped on to bury the PF in the roof of the net!
He quickly follows this up with his hat trick goal!
Everyone wanted in on the action none more than El Capitano Jack Scott, who after several runs in to D finally received a pass from Luke Wilkinson to bag his goal!
Stepping up in goal, Niall Trimble showed arguably his best move of the year, running to the edge of the D in full pads slipping it past the Bishops Stortford striker! And laying a kick off to the midfield (unreal).
At 8-2 Aiden Parker got his 4th, another drag flick hitting the top corner with thanks to a shout of where to shoot from the CB Andy Davies!!
Score line finished 9-2 in what could have been a much larger score line!
