It was a moist one away to Letchworth 3’s.
Stevenage with a strong team started sprightly with long juicy balls up to skipper Ryall Swartz and Nick Russell’s exchange player from Canada, Danny Blackburn.
Stevenage were peppering their area with short corners but couldn’t convert.
Letchworth against the flow of play in the first half dragged one passed GK Nick Russell, who had been on top form in the half.
Starting the 2nd half in good spirits, Stevenage started where they left off with Nathan Derrick dominating their defence.
Stevenage kept knocking on their door, shots after shots but the keeper kept them in it. But finally! Nick Umney slotted one in to make it 1-1.
Letchworth got another one back to make it 2-1. Stevenage kept battling and running to try and get a late draw but to no prevail.
Stevenage lost, 2-1.
