4's played Bedford 7's away in their last match before the Christmas break after last weekend's match was cancelled due to storm Darragh. With a back 4 of Kal Singh, Alex Lake, Pete Hindle and Tony Farnan M4's started off well. Unfortunately, on the 4th minute Bedford took advantage with a player on the post and took an early lead. M4's weren't disheartened and played well with some good runs by Leon Harvey in CM with Chris Niewdach combining well with Cam Homfray-Cooper in LM and Josh Lake making some good runs and passes in RM. The front pairing of Jonathan Parker and Simon Russell combined well. Unfortunately, M4's conceded 2 further goals in the first period and 3 in the second period to give a final scoreline of 6 - 0. Despite the scoreline, M4 definitely deserved at least a goal and played some good possession hockey and made some good passes with good combination play between players. The whole team never gave up playing with special mention to Cam who carried on playing the game after receiving a ball to the knee....POM Leon Harvey
