M4's went to MBDA knowing it was going to be a tougher match than last Saturday with Paul Hemmant in goal and a back 4 of Kal Singh, Jonathan Parker and the CB partnership of Ian Noble and Pete Hindle. M4's started brightly, however, conceded an early goal on 4 minutes. M4's weren't disheartened, though, and played good passing hockey as they did throughout the majority of the game with Tony Farnan combining well with Josh Lake in CM and Lee Pickersgill and Anand Mann playing well in LM an RM respectively combining well with with the CM...Many times Josh Lake made good passes and runs towards the front 2 of Simon Russell and Harp Mann. Unfortunately, a further goal on the 17th minute and 2 late goals at the end of the first period for MBDA did not reflect how well M4's were playing. M4's continued to play well in the second period and kept MBDA chances to a minimum and even gained a succession of PC's that unfortunately weren't converted. Graham Spicer played well as RB and Alex Lake played well up front. Despite, chances for M4's and very good passing hockey and play from M4's, MBDA managed to score 3 further late goals in the 52nd, 54th and 63rd minute bringing a final scoreline of 7-0...the exact scoreline from our meeting at Nobel way back in October...MoM Josh Lake ?
