M4's faced Luton Town 3's in a double header of 2 home games in a row with a Paul Hemmant in goal and a back 4 of Graham Spicer, Kal Singh, Jon Parker and Matt Thomasson, who was playing his first game for the club. After 3 minutes, M4's found themselves a goal down after a breakaway run by Luton after a chance for M4's on the Luton goal. This did not dishearten M4's, though, with M4's pressing and passing well with Xavi George in LM, Lee Pickersgill in RM and the 2 CM's of Tony Farnan and Josh Lake to the strikers of Alex Lake and Mehron Kirk. In the 14th minute M4's found themselves 2 goals down, however, on the 23rd minute M4's found themselves back in the game after a wonder reverse stick strike from Josh Lake went into the Luton goal. Unfortunately Luton managed to get 2 further goals for a half time score line of 4-1. Luton grabbed an early goal in the second period. M4's continued to play well, though, passing and pressing Luton well with Chris Niewdach and Enzo Kirk playing well. This was rewarded in the 46th minute with Josh Lake gaining a second goal after another reverse stick shot on goal. However, Luton 3's gained advantage again in the 50th minute just after Jon Parker was awarded a green card for knocking the ball away. The final say went to M4's, though, as Alex Lake gained a third goal for M4's in the 58th minute giving a final score line of 6 - 3 to Luton 3's...overall good team play from all and well deserved 3 goals...PoM...Josh Lake
