M4's played their last home game of 2025 at Nobel against a Bedford 7's side who currently sit 2nd placed in the table. With Paul Hemmant in goal and a back 4 of Graham Spicer, Kal Singh, Matt Thomasson and Jon Parker. M4's settled well with the CM of Mehron Kirk passing well to Xavi George in LM who made some good runs down the wing and put some good balls into the Bedford D. The other CM of Lawrie Western carried the ball forward well and had a few early attempts on goal and also created chances for the strikers of Alex Lake and Simon Russell. with Lee Pickersgill in RM playing well on many occasions hassling the Bedford 7's counter attack. Despite a half time score line of 2 - 0 to Bedford, M4's didn't give up. Harp Mann played well in CM creating chances for M4 breakaway runs up field with Enzo Kirk playing well in LM. Bedford 7's managed to get 2 further goals in the second period to give a final score line of 4 - 0 with everyone, including the Bedford players, relieved for the full time whistle being blown and a chance to get out of the cold weather and relentless rain with Tea's awaiting back at the clubhouse...overall a good performance from all and M4's look forward to 2 away games before the Christmas break...MoM Xavi George
