M4's faced an away game at top of the table Old Haberdashers knowing it was going to be their toughest game of the season. With Zammo in goal and a back 5 of Graham Spicer, Alex Lake, Ian Noble, Jon Parker and Geoff Trew.
M4's started well with the midfielder duo of Chris Niewdach passing well to Josh Lake. Xavi George in LM and Lee Pickersgill in RM made some good runs on the wing and created chances for the lone striker of Enzo Kirk.
M4's played some good hockey in the first period with Ian Noble making some good challenges to prevent Old Haberdashers getting into the M4's D and M4's creating chances with the Old Haberdashers keeper saving well.
A respectable 2 - 0 half time scoreline gave M4's hope for the second period
Mehron Kirk played well as sweeper with M4's carrying on playing good hockey in the second period, as they had done in the first period.
Unfortunately, Old Haberdashers found themselves 4 more goals in the second period giving a final scoreline of 6 - 0...Overall a good performance from M4's all round, though, with Zammo making some good saves in the game and Enzo Kirk having a shot on goal that was defended well by Old Haberdashers....PoM Zammo and Ian Noble
