Welwyn at Sixes and Sevens

Stevenage 6s win 7-0 against Welwyn 4s

Stevenage took charge of the game early on pressurising Welwyn’s defence throughout, some great passing and communication from the team saw a goal from Lauren Hughes, followed later by two more goals from Laura O’Donnell to take them to 3-0 at half time. Straight back in to play the second half saw Sam Robbins score her first. Some nice passing and movement again and another goal from Laura, battling on and some more attempts at goal with a short corner gained, which was superbly lifted in and scored by Sam, and then another goal followed a short time later by Lauren taking the goal total to 7-0

There was some lovely assists/balls in the D by Hannah C, Abbie, Beca, Lizzie and Clare P

Welwyn did have a couple of attempts towards goal but the 6s defence Maggie, Viv, Laura N & Emily quickly got rid of any threats, With GK Claire kicking out any stray balls
