Covid Guidance for Opposition Teams Visiting Stevenage Hockey Club

We play at these locations, please do check on the relevant league website for your time and pitch venue.

• John Henry Newman School, Hitchin Rd, Stevenage SG1 4AE
Our home teams play in red tops and red socks.

Spectators

STRICTLY no spectators are allowed in the pitch caged area. Only players, umpires and a team coach are permitted inside this area.
Please do inform captains/players to let those coming of this.
Spectators are very welcome but should remain outside the fence. Those inside the pitch that are not directly involved with the match will be asked to watch from outside the fence.

England Hockey Guidance
We assume that any participant from your club visiting us will have completed the required pre-attendance official symptom check.

Key Points
• Please follow directional signage for entry and exit. Nobel has an “in” gate and an “out” gate.
• Arrive ready to play - no changing or shower facilities at our venues (until mid-September when they will re-open). There are toilets and hand washing facilities within the sports hall at Nobel and the sports block at JHN.
• Do not enter the pitch area until the last match participants have exited the area.
• We ask players and umpires to sanitise their hands with their own gel on the way into the pitch areas, we do also provide hand sanitisier just outside the pitch entrance.
